Eligibility

Post CodePost Name — Educational Qualification
01–08Municipal Commissioner, Sub-Registrar, Deputy Tahsildar, GST Officer, Assistant Registrar, Deputy MPDO, Excise SI and ASO (GAD) — Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university or equivalent qualification.
09Assistant Section Officer - Finance Department — Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Economics or Commerce from a recognized university, or equivalent qualification.
10Assistant Section Officer - Law Department — Bachelor's Degree in Law from a recognized university, or equivalent qualification.
11 and 12Senior Accountant and Junior Accountant — Degree in Commerce, Economics or Mathematics, or another degree as allowed under the notification, together with the prescribed certificate course; alternatively, specified computer-related degrees are accepted.
The minimum educational qualification for most APPSC Group 2 posts is a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
However, Finance and Law Assistant Section Officer posts and Accountant positions have specific qualification conditions.
